I was raised in a split baseball household, my favorite team being the Atlanta Braves and my secondary team as the Yankees and yes, that caused a lot of confusion in the household. I came across a fantastic website a few weeks ago called TailgatingIdeas.com and felt I must share it with my readers. I am a huge fan of tailgating (obviously) and love tips and tricks. If your like me, you need to bookmark this website.

Earlier this week, ESPN's SportsNation named TailgatingIdeas.com as the site of the day. They also appeared on the "That Morning Show" on E!

TailgatingIdeas.com was started in August 2007 by a guy who grew tired of looking for tailgating ideas on the internet after all he could find were websites willing to sell him something.

The creator and driving force behind TailgatingIdeas.com is Dave Lamm. Dave Lamm has been a tailgater for most of his adult life. He always enjoyed tailgating anytime he was invited to a game or concert but never tailgated on a regular basis until a few years ago. It was not until the 2004 NFL season that he turned the corner and became an “expert tailgater”. That was when his girlfriend at the time (she is now his beautiful and loving wife) surprised him with the gift of season tickets to his favorite sports team, the San Diego Chargers.

Naturally Dave turned to the Internet to gain more information and ideas about tailgating. Unfortunately most tailgating websites are more interested in selling tailgating supplies and gear rather than sharing ideas and opinions about tailgating. Dave Lamm started TailgatingIdeas.com because he wants to share his tailgating ideas, opinions and experiences that he has developed over the years. By starting TailgatingIdeas.com, Dave hopes that someone out there will use some of these suggestions to have a better tailgating experience the next time they hit the parking lot. Dave’s goal is to heighten the awareness of tailgating and to help people to not only tailgate, but tailgate better.

Fall Saturday's are my favorite time of year. Not only is it beautiful weather in FL, but I get to do the one thing I love most by watching a full day of college football. If I am not at the Swamp, I will usually be found throwing Gameday parties, having rivalry themed menus and drinks and having all my friends over so they can argue with me since most of them think the Gators don't deserve to be #1. It's tough being a Gator sometimes.....

People have often asked me where my vision came from for Halftime Designs. I really can't answer that question, as these images just pop in my head (usually after a glass or two of wine). I have had a fun time with coming up with Halftime Designs. I do think my love for throwing theme parties may have been where the inspiration for the Gator Girls Sushi Bar and Nole Girls Sushi Bar images came from, with their rivalry themed sushi menus.I must add that I start off every Saturday watching College Gameday (usually disagreeing with everything Korso says). But I must ask....why is Jim Cramer from Mad Money doing a feature for college football? I don't like it, not one bit! Since today's College Gameday is out of State College in PA, I figured I would introduce you to the Penntini (check out Nittany's Scarf!), available now in the online store.

My Knightini is now in the webstore and I am very excited about this one. My brother Aaron and soon to be sister in-law Lauren are both UCF grads and go to most of the home games. Lauren was one of my inspirations for starting this line. She always has the hardest time find a cute UCF shirt for gameday. I always complained about not being able to find orange and blue clothes but I never realized how hard the UCF girls had it. Oh my lord, this past week has truly taken a toll on my life. My childhood best friend told me tonight that I need help. Usually when you hear these words from a best friend, it would be due to alcohol or worse....not in my case. I am apparently addicted to Halftime Designs.

So if you know me personally, I apologize!! My biggest plus and downfall fits into the same category. When I become 110% focused on something, watch out.

While I am venting, I would REALLY like to know what the thousands of beautiful people that have viewed my website over the past week would like to see.

Am I going in the right direction with the NFL? My good bud who is a Patriots fan says so....
What teams would you want me to move forward with?

This is my first post blog post and I am very excited for what's to come within the next month. Dressing up for football games is my favorite thing to do. I have had issues in the past finding feminine cute things in my teams colors. I would sit up at night, prior to the game, stressing out because I didn't have a stylish outfit to wear to the game. Don't get me wrong, I know my fair share about sports but I prefer to look cute while tailgating and loosing my voice cheering for my team! I know many other female sports fans that feel the same way.

I took the two things I love most in this world, fashion and sports and created a fun and flirty clothing line called Halftime Designs, which is available at www.cafepress.com/halftimedesigns. I am introducing it with designer tees and tanks.
